Inside the Palmetto Theater

This collection of photographs celebrates the transformative power of public art in what was once one of the poorest areas of Cartegena, Colombia. Getsemani now welcomes tourists from all over the world to see the vibrant murals that have sprung up throughout the area, leading to tourism and increased economic activity. We are in the beginning stages of an exchange project with artists in this region, and members of our team have a service project planned in Cartegena  for June 2024.
